We have had an update from the SENS Research Foundation team regarding donor gifts for the Mitomouse fundraiser.
The Mitomouse team report that they have finalized the orders for the t-shirts and tote bags today and they printers will now begin production. Once the foundation recieves the finished items they will shipped out to backers, they anticipate this will be around the end of the month when they will start shipping to donors. We would like to apologize for the delay in shipping rewards out.
Meanwhile, for those backers who qualified for a call with the research team, we will be reaching out to you in the next week or so to arrange a time to meet so you can ask them about this fascinating project.
Steve serves on the LEAF Board of Directors and is the Editor in Chief, coordinating the daily news articles and social media content of the organization. He is an active journalist in the aging research and biotechnology field and has to date written over 600 articles on the topic, interviewed over 100 of the leading researchers in the field, hosted livestream events focused on aging, as well as attending various medical industry conferences. His work has been featured in H+ magazine, Psychology Today, Singularity Weblog, Standpoint Magazine, Swiss Monthly, Keep me Prime, and New Economy Magazine. Steve is one of three recipients of the 2020 H+ Innovator Award and shares this honour with Mirko Ranieri – Google AR and Dinorah Delfin – Immortalists Magazine. The H+ Innovator Award looks into our community and acknowledges ideas and projects that encourage social change, achieve scientific accomplishments, technological advances, philosophical and intellectual visions, author unique narratives, build fascinating artistic ventures, and develop products that bridge gaps and help us to achieve transhumanist goals. Steve has a background in project management and administration which has helped him to build a united team for effective fundraising and content creation, while his additional knowledge of biology and statistical data analysis allows him to carefully assess and coordinate the scientific groups involved in the project.

Hi James,
With California in lockdown we suspect gifts will be delayed due to the quarentine. We are working with SENS to get an update on this but at the moment it looks like delays as the manufacturing companies may not be working. We are trying to find out.

Any update on when the gifts start shipping? If we will have to wait till quarantine is totally over that’s fine. I’m not in any rush.

Hi Ekaterina, SENS are still on lockdown unfortunately. Once they are back in the lab we will see about an updated ETA on the gifts. Sorry about the delay but Covid-19 has really messed things up.
