Clock Foundation

As its name suggests, the Clock Foundation is involved in maximizing the improvement, versatility, accuracy, and accessibility of epigenetic clocks that track the fundamental mechanisms of aging, as validation of anti-aging therapeutics is extremely difficult without biomarkers to track them. It focuses on later-generation clocks such as PhenoAge and GrimAge along with clocks for a wide variety of mammalian species. This organization is founded by Steve Horvath, the creator of the original Horvath epigenetic clock.
