In this pivotal role, Marton will leverage his expertise and the organization's newly acquired resources to transform Lifespan.io into a global, leading independent authority in the longevity space.
Marton received his MSc and PhD from Eötvös Loránd University and completed postdoctoral training at Rutgers and Texas Tech University, where he published high-impact original research in prestigious journals such as Nature, Lab on Chip, and Journal of Neuroscience. His scientific background spans molecular genetics, neurodegenerative diseases, and aging research.
Beyond his academic achievements, Marton has held various startup executive roles. As Chief Business Officer, he helped open up multibillion-dollar market opportunities for a techbio company. Marton also assessed the longevity space for a major biopharma company and managed corporate development at a Silicon Valley in silico drug discovery company. His diverse skill set spans business development, fundraising, regulatory affairs, and strategic partnerships.
