An Oxford Modern History graduate who specialized in the history of science, Chris had no purpose in life for more than forty years, travelling the world and trying out different jobs from DJing to selling the world’s best tasting organic beefsteaks at a farmer’s market. He thought that life extension would happen in his lifetime and that he might as well just enjoy living. However, over time a burning desire grew to do something about his passion for longevity science until he realized that he had found his purpose in life: to help in the defeat of ageing. Now, apart from volunteering for LEAF and writing his monthly longevity blog, his medium term goal is to create a longevity ecosystem in his native Toronto and ultimately to shape Canadian government policy so that their commie health care system is among the first to embrace the longevity dividend.
