London Futurists

The London futurists are an organization focused on the future of society and the interconnections between technologies, economies, the environment, politics, cultures, and philosophies. Thanks to technology, we seem poised to gain god-like powers, such as super-intelligence and super-longevity. But at the same time, we risk losing sight of our humanity, and destroying everything that we used to hold dear. The organization is currently chaired by the futurist David Wood, mobile phone pioneer and technology guru.

The mission of the London Futurists is simple: Serious analysis of radical scenarios for the next 3-40 years.

By exploring and understanding the various potential challenges our society may face as the result of radical advances in technology we can become better able to handle them in an informed and intelligent manner for the betterment of society. The London Futurists are doing just this through informed discussion and various future focused projects.
