Two Days Until the Ending Age-Related Diseases 2019 Conference

EARD2019 conference banner.EARD2019 conference banner.

There are now only two days to go before the Ending Age-Related Diseases 2019 conference at the Cooper Union in New York City. This is our annual conference that brings together industry leaders from biotech research and business.

We have almost sold out of tickets, so if you are thinking about attending, you should act today to secure your place.

Kicking off with a biotech crash course

We are starting off the conference the day before with a special biotech workshop led by Dr. Kelsey Moody of Ichor Therapeutics, which will offer guidance on how to create, develop, and lead a biotech company focused on targeting age-related diseases.

The workshop will be divided into two 90-minute sessions in which participants will learn the critical requirements for success in this complex and challenging industry. If you are a researcher or entrepreneur thinking of getting into the rejuvenation biotechnology industry, then this workshop will give you a solid foundation upon which to build a biotech company.

Also, if you are attending the main conference, you can get a huge 40% discount on the price of the workshop; a discount code will be given when you book your conference ticket.

Onto the main event

Starting July 11th, we have two days of talks covering the latest research and the nuances of conducting business and investment in this emerging industry.

There will be industry news, research results, discussion panels, great food, and lots of opportunities to network with others working in the same industry, making this a truly unmissable event.

We have an amazing selection of speakers, including George Church, Aubrey de Grey, Judith Campisi, Maria Blasco, Ronald Kohanski, Vadim Gladyshev, Michael West, Michael Greve, Greg Fahy, Kris Verburgh, João Pedro de Magalhães, and many more.

There are also generous discounts for students and our monthly patrons, the Lifespan Heroes, who wish to attend the event. If you are a Lifespan Hero and wish to attend and would like a discount code, get in touch with us. If you are a student, you can simply book a student rate ticket and bring your student ID along with a secondary ID, such as a driver’s license, on the day of the conference.

I cannot attend, but can I see the event?

Obviously, nothing beats being there, but we have had a lot of people asking us if we plan to livestream the conference this year; the answer is, unfortunately, no. Livestreaming the event at a high level of quality is very challenging, and some of the talks will be covering research data that is not yet ready for public broadcast.

However, we will be recording a number of talks and panels from the conference and releasing them in the following months. This will not be the entire conference due to the sensitive nature of some research data, but there should be a good selection for people to enjoy.

Our monthly patrons, the Lifespan Heroes, will be offered early access to the videos as they were last year; this is our way of thanking them for their continued support in making it possible for us to do what we do. Have no fear, though; the videos will eventually be released via our public news outlet on the website in due course.

See you soon
