MouseAge Update December 2017

Happy Holidays everyone! Just a quick update on the MouseAge project which was successfully funded earlier this year thanks to the support of the community. We are happy to announce that those who donated to MouseAge and qualified for a signed copy of the new book JuvenesenceΒ by Jim Mellon and AlΒ Chalabi should be receiving them soon! The books were shipped out last week and indeed, some people have reported they have got them already. With the holidays coming up this book is a great read for those interested in rejuvenation biotech and the exciting possibilities it holds.

In other news, the MouseAge team informs us that application is finished ahead of schedule and is currently going through the approval process at the Apple Store. It is anticipated the application could be ready for researchers to download by early January 2018. This means that scientists will soon be able to use the application to test the age of mice without the need for harmful tests and could help to accelerate the pace of research as well as reduce animal suffering. Thank you to everyone in the community who backed the project.
