About Rose Opbroek
Rose was born & raised on a ranch in South Dakota and spent several years living in Kansas City before moving permanently to Nebraska. She founded an art glass studio and small scale construction firm in the 1980s before moving into non-profit management in 1990. She spent several years as Business Manager for an artists’ colony, and as Development Director for a ballet company. She then moved into the non-profit health arena spending twelve years as Executive Director for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, ten years with the March of Dimes, and two and a half years as a Regional Director for the Epilepsy Foundation of America. She married her longtime partner during the pandemic and she and her husband bought and are refurbishing a historic home in Lincoln, NE.
