About Justin Rebo, Ph.D.
Justin leads BIOAGE’s internal in vivo platform to test novel drug targets in models of aging and regeneration. Justin has over 12 years of experience developing and inventing in vivo systems in academia and industry to probe mechanisms of aging and disease. Justin also has extensive startup experience, having previously cofounded 3 biotechnology companies and filed multiple patent applications in senescent cell removal, immunology, and regenerative medicine. Justin recently spent two years working as a Senior Scientist in the Conboy Lab at the University of California at Berkeley developing a novel heterochronic blood exchange and testing system to probe the effects of the young and old systemic environment on tissue regeneration. He received his MD/MSc from St. George’s University School of Medicine.
