Alliance for Longevity Initiatives
Organization Description
The Alliance for Longevity Initiatives (A4LI) was founded with the goal of creating social and political action around the issues of combating age-related chronic conditions and increasing our number of healthy, disease-free years. The A4LI is a 501(c)(4) non-profit political advocacy organization, focusing on encouraging policymakers and the public to focus on policy that will help increase healthy human lifespan.
Its current initiatives include the establishment of a Longevity Caucus in Congress, the creation of economic measures that promote increasing healthy lifespan, increasing the funding of the NIA’s Division of Aging Biology, focusing ARPA-H on next-generation medical technologies, creating an approval path within the FDA for longevity medicines, and other measures to encourage foundational drug discovery.
