Purchased in 2009 by the Roche Group, Genentech is a broad medical company dealing with neurology, oncology, immunology, metabolism, opthamology, and infectious diseases. It currently markets a wide variety of pharmaceutical drugs and is working on cellular rejuvenation in collaboration with the Salk Institute.
