Today is Giving Tuesday, the international day of giving; on this day, people all over the world are encouraged to donate to the causes they find the most important. That’s why we think that this is a good occasion to remind you just how much your support means to us and the drive to make age-related diseases a thing of the past.
We have achieved a lot in the few years since we began our efforts to support research focused on ending age-related diseases. We have published hundreds of news articles covering the latest developments in the field along with educational pieces explaining aging and disease, hosted events and conferences, given talks at many key events, advocated for the development of therapies to address age-related diseases, created popular science videos with major YouTube channels, and funded new research at Lifespan.io.
We have also been awarded a top rated badge for two years running at GreatNonprofits, which is greatly appreciated, as are the kind words that some of the reviewers there have left us.
However, the glory is not all ours, and, simply put, we could not do a fraction of what we do without your support. Your donations, big or small, make all the difference in the world; they allow us to keep running, expand our activities, engage new audiences, bring you the latest news, and organize even more ambitious events and messaging in order to bring this important topic to wide public attention.
Also, while it is indeed important to fund direct research, our work on building awareness and bringing funding into the field is extremely valuable and worthy of your support as well.Β Without the large social movement that we are helping to build, the road to a world without age-related diseases might be longer than necessary.
With your help, we can purchase new equipment to support reporting at conferences and events and to bring our audience the best media experience possible. We are also planning to host a second conference in New York City in 2019, and this will be far more ambitious in scale and will include multipleΒ days rather than the single-day conference we held this year; with your support, we can make this one of the topΒ conferences supporting the field of rejuvenation biotechnology and make high-quality footage available to the public. Finally, your support means that we can hire new writers to bring you even more high-quality news articles and educational pieces about aging and research.
If you would like to help us make these things happen, please consider donating for Giving Tuesday and supporting the drive to end age-related diseases.
