Dr. Qingsong Zhu
Qingsong Zhu, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Insilico Medicine, a company that uses Omics, big data, and deep learning technologies for drug discovery and biomarker development to uncover treatments for age-related diseases. Dr. Zhu received his doctorate in biochemistry from Kansas State University. As part of his studies at Kansas State, he integrated biochemistry, genomics, and bioinformatics to identify new drug targets for pest control. Before joining Insilico Medicine, he also served as a postdoctoral scholar at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine under Dr. Nancy Davidson, where his research focused on cancer epigenetic biomarkers and anti-epigenetic cancer drug discovery. He is currently investigating how deep learning technology can promote early diagnosis and treatment of cancer and other age-related diseases.
